From the drama of the high mountains, to the verdant green valleys, gentle lakes and teeming waterfalls and rivers, Snowdonia has it all. Added to this the weather is often full of
drama and amazing light too - a real photographers paradise.
Despite the rugged terrain, this workshop is accessible to all as the locations are chosen carefully to suit all fitness levels.

The itinerary will need to be flexible to make the most of the British weather - particularly in the Snowdonia range where the weather moves quickly and can be quite different within a short radius. We can choose from a range of high quality locations such as the lake at the base of Snowdon itself (Llyn Llydaw), the Aberglaslyn gorge with it's stunning fast flowing river and the narrow guage railway running alongside it, various other of the glorious snowdonia lakes such as Mymbyr with it's wonderfully photogenic view to the Snowdon horseshoe, and Idwal with the stunning path up to Cwm Idwal and great views to the iconic Tryfan. There are also several excellent waterfalls at various places. If we want a change we can also go and photograph Caernarfon castle on it's seafront/ estuary location.
If the weather is particluarly poor we may need to move to the coast near Caernarfon, or to Anglesey where it is often much better.
In the gorgeous scenery of North Wales there is plenty to keep us busy!
